Here at Created by Elsie B, we hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season. We're keeping it a bit low key around here, if you haven't noticed, but we still have some exciting news to highlight. LeAndra has spent the last 12 months perfecting a new product that has been bouncing around her head for years. We are so excited to put the physical manifestation of this long-anticipated dream in your crafty hands and see it spring to life. Sharing our fiber love with you gives us so much joy, so we think it's quite fitting to release it around the most wonderful time of the year! This week, we'll unwrap all the ins and out of the Created by Elsie B Year of Fiber - consider it our gift to you for a cheerful and bright 2020! What better way to ring in a brand new decade than with a brand new Elsie B product?
While fiber and all the ins and outs of preparing, picking color palettes and dyeing make up the majority of what we do here at Created by Elsie B, LeAndra is also a spinner, knitter and fiber artist herself. This means that not only do you get the absolute best fibers when you shop with us, but we also have a variety of bits, bobs and complementary products that speak to fiber-loving souls like you. If you haven't searched our product catalog extensively, you may have missed our Elsie B Sheep Notions Bag, one of the cutest and most useful additions to the website. Today we're spotlighting these little darlings, where they came from and their plethora of uses!
Apparently, 'tis the season of all things new here at Created by Elsie B! Though it wasn't necessarily planned, we have had several new releases this month and have even more pretty big stuff that is coming soon. (Sign up for our newsletter to get first dibs on our very big, very exciting October launch!) If you haven't been following along, check our recently added tab. We added Merino/Seacell as a new base to the shop, opened a pre-order for the cutest little handcrafted Elsie B sheep mugs, and we are in the process of adding our stunning hand woven artisan scarves made with hand dyed, hand spun Created by Elsie B fibers! Some of these projects have been in process for most of the year, so to say that we're giddy with excitement to introduce them would an understatement!
